“An idyllic hideaway…”

Great photos attached to a lovely review on Trip Advisor by 717Travelmuch:

If you want a weekend away in a small yet bustling village, then Bagshaw Hall is a must visit! Set in a grand manor house with it’s own grounds, the hotel is only a short walk from the main town, which offers an assortment of top restaurants, quaint cafes and traditional style pubs.
Bakewell is also surrounded by breathtaking countryside, including the likes of vast lakes, hidden caverns and sumptuous views.

Re: Bagshaw Hall

Re: Bagshaw Hall

We stayed in the cavendish apartment and I must say that we think it is the nicest place we have ever stayed. We also recently stayed at Hassop Hall which is in a huge hall but would much prefer to stay in this place again. The room was gorgeous and came complete with a whirlpool bath. I suppose the reason for not having a door is the fact that it is en-suite to your bedroom where there is a door to seperate you from the rest of the accomodation. It had all the mod cons including a huge plasma tv and a fully fitted modern kitchen (even had a dishwasher and washing machine).

Would recommend this to anyone. Will definitely be going again soon.

Another lovely review of Bagshaw Hall. Posted to the Trip Advisor ‘Bakewell’ Forum by KatyWaldron.

Photos of the Mirabeau Suite at Bagshaw Hall, taken by ‘MidlandsReviewer’ during their stay and uploaded to Trip Advisor along with the following review:

Wow, what an amazing place! We were greeted on arrival and shown to our room/around the building and made to feel very welcome. We stayed for one night in the Mirabeau Suite and it was fabulous. The room is large but cosy, the kitchenette was really useful and had everything we needed, we had taken a hamper which we’re glad we did as we didn’t want to leave the room once we were there! The two person bath was a real treat and there was plenty of hot water to fill it! Such a close walk into Bakewell too. Just fabulous, we’re already thinking of the next occasion when we can treat ourselves to a return visit! Thank-you Bagshaw Hall :-) xx
